                   VHOP is a Godward, Missional, Community of Night and Day Prayer
                                              in the Mid-Ohio Valley. Our highest value,

Godward exultation and worship, is experienced through a converging of new and ancient
expressions of Christian worship and prayer.

Our Missional calling is demonstrated by sharing the good news of God’s love, mercy, healing, and
forgiveness.

We express Christian Community as we gather and grow together as a House of Prayer through
corporate worship, prayer, service, and Holy Communion.

The VHOP is an Interdenominational/Ecumenical Missions Base composed of
musicians, singers, intercessors, artists, dancers, and worshippers of Jesus Christ who have been faithfully
building a prayer furnace in Parkersburg, West Virginia and Marietta, Ohio since February 2000. As an
overflow of our lifestyle of prayer we pray for the sick in our Healing Rooms, minister to basic needs
through Bread of Life ministries, train musicians through Christ's School of the Arts, record our worship
music 'in house' at Sackcloth Studios, and reach out and build relationships through Encounter the King
Gatherings .
