Christ the King House of Prayer
(formerly  named the Valley House of Prayer)
began in Parkersburg, West Virginia in February 2000 as
musicians and intercessors gathered
to minister to the Lord. What began as
a monthly meeting hosted by different
Churches has grown into daily
worship and intercession.

Our mission is to establish a center of
praise and prayer that will minister to
the Lord night and day. We are
convinced from scripture and church
history that the combination of
worship and intercession is on the
heart of God (Rev. Ch. 4&5) and that
the work of prayer should be night and day
until the return of our King. (Lk. Ch. 11, 18:7)

We understand that in order to
accomplish such an assignment, it
will take a valley-wide effort with some
being set apart as full time and
part-time worshiping/intercessors.

May God provide strength to run the
race that is set before us, fixing our
eyes on Jesus. If  this vision stirs your heart
